These include: modern gear reduction starter, electric fan with temperature control, pertronix electronic ignition with new distributor, coil, and spark plug wires, quick change oil filter, rear shocks replaced, new bumpers and bumper guards, new air filters, new aluminum radiator, riser for rear view mirror, new electronic fuel pump and a new steering wheel. The original steering wheel, starter, distributor and ignition system, oil filter, and radiator go with the car. The top and boot cover are in as new condition. Notice the kendall motor oil sticker on the drivers door from 1997 showing the mileage at 12,720. Inspection of the car indicates that the low mileage is correct. The original owner put most of the mileage on the car. After several years, he donated the car to a vocational program where, over a period of years, the car was taken back to bare medal and prime coat of paint was applied. Originally the color was black. The school eventually discontinued the program and the car was put into storage for many years. The next owner painted the car the current golden beige and installed a new leather interior. No mechanical work was performed at the school. The last owner stored the car for many years and it had minimal use. I have the continuous ownership history. After i purchased the car, i made many improvements and updates including; installing a modern gear reduction starter,the engine was overhauled to permit use of unleaded gas, the transmission was overhauled, new windshield was installed as well as, electric fan with temperature control, electronic ignition, new coil, new spark plug wires, electronic fuel pump, quick change oil filter, new wood steering wheel, new chrome bumpers and bumper guards, and a cigarette lighter was installed to allow charging of cell phone etc., i have just replaced the two rear reflectors with led's from moss motor's allowing for better visibility. All original parts have been saved. The carburetors have been rebuilt and new tires have been added. Chrome wire wheels were added. The top is in virtually new condition. A top cover as well as a tonneau cover is included. All numbers match and i have the british heritage certificate. This is a great opportunity to purchase a low mileage austin healey 3000.

A documented (yes documented) $65,000. 00 restoration, to the highest level was completed in 2005 by madded & ryan, inc. Since 2005, less than 2,000 miles have been driven on this professional restoration. The cars colorado red is virtually flawless. The body is phenomenally straight with consistent gaps and panel fit. All of the body rubber was replaced. The bright work is original except for new bumpers and bumper guards. The original black interior was left un-restored because of it's excellent condition. The carpets were replaced. The walnut dash is in fantastic original condition and the original becker radio is still in the car. Both the tonneau cover and the soft top are in excellent condition. A spare tire is included but not pictured. Recent additions include new gas tank, new rear view mirror with stand, new electronic ignition including spark plug wires, coil and distributor, new foam in seat bottoms, new gear reduction starter, new hayden electric fan, new wood steering wheel, and new adapter for screw on oil filter.
